AMCIS 2025 Call for Papers

Intelligent technologies for a better future

The Program Chairs for AMCIS 2025 are now inviting submissions of completed research papers and Emergent Research Forum (ERF) papers to the 31st Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) in Montreal, Canada. From August 14-16, 2025, AMCIS 2025 will bring together academics and industry professionals around the world to exchange knowledge related to diverse facets of information systems research and practice.
AMCIS 2025 will provide diverse opportunities for participation, collaboration, and dialogue related to the conference theme "Intelligent technologies for a better future." With your contributions, we will present an exciting program that draws upon the best SIG-driven AMCIS traditions. We anticipate thought-provoking presentations and stimulating discussions that exemplify our incredible discipline.

Submission Information:
All submissions must be made via the AMCIS 2025 PCS submission system. After creating an account and logging on to the PCS site, authors should go to the "Author Center" to make their submission. Specifically:

  *   Visit the AMCIS 2025 website for a complete list of tracks and minitracks <https://amcis2025.aisconferences.org/track-descriptions/> that are available and to determine the proper minitrack for your submission. Please contact the relevant track/minitrack chairs with any questions or concerns.
  *   If there is any conflict of interest between the author(s) and the track or minitrack chairs, the paper must be submitted to the "General Topics<https://amcis2025.aisconferences.org/track-descriptions/#toggle-id-5>" minitrack within the Conference Theme track - Intelligent technologies for a better future (IntelFuture).
  *   Submissions authored by the track or minitrack chairs must be submitted to the "General Topics<https://amcis2025.aisconferences.org/track-descriptions/#toggle-id-5>" minitrack within the Conference Theme track - Intelligent technologies for a better future (IntelFuture).
  *   Determine the proper submission type (e.g., completed research, ERF) by reviewing the types of submissions on the conference website. Submission instructions, templates, and forms can be found on the website. Check here.<https://amcis2025.aisconferences.org/submissions/types-of-submissions/>
  *   The AMCIS 2025 conference format will be 100% in-person. At least one author from each accepted submission must register, attend, and present their work at the conference, or the submission will not be included in the AMCIS 2025 Proceedings.
  *   Authors of accepted completed research papers and ERF papers are strongly encouraged to submit a short video presentation. These videos should be approximately 10 minutes for a full paper and 5 minutes for an ERF paper and will appear in the AIS eLibrary.
  *   Note that individuals are limited to authoring/co-authoring a maximum of three papers (this includes any combination of completed research and ERF papers). Each paper (completed research and ERF) can have a maximum of five authors.

  *   Manuscript submissions now open
  *   Feb 28, 2025: Submissions close at 5 p.m. ET (New York)
Scholarly integrity is a core value in our discipline, and all AMCIS submissions must comply with AIS policies. Scholars submitting papers to this conference thereby attest that they have read the AIS Code of Research Conduct and that the work submitted is in accordance with the Code in all appropriate respects. Editors of AMCIS conference proceedings who receive allegations of plagiarism or other scholarly misconduct may inform the AIS President, who may refer the matter, at his/her discretion, to the AIS Research Conduct Committee.
