<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><div><b>CALL FOR PAPERS</b></div><div><br></div><div>Dear AIS-Community,</div><div><br></div><div>We are pleased to invite you to submit your contributions to our minitrack titled "Gameful IS for Sustainable Development", which will be part of the AMCIS 2025 conference in Montreal (Canada), August 13-17, 2025.</div><div><br></div><div>This minitrack invites submissions that explore how games, gamification, and gameful design can support the transition to a sustainable society. </div><div><br></div><div>We seek contributions that deepen our understanding of the potential of gameful approaches to foster positive psychological and behavioral change and promote sustainable practices among individuals, communities, institutions, and businesses. </div><div><br></div><div>We welcome research on the design, use, and perception of game-based solutions, innovative technological approaches from new developments in game design, and their (prospective) impact on sustainability. In addition, we encourage theoretical, conceptual, and methodological contributions that advance our knowledge of gameful design in the interplay of different dimensions of sustainability, such as the ethics of motivational and persuasive design for environmental progress.
