The constant and rapid pace of technological developments has propelled the already flourishing world of social media, offering more opportunities to individuals, organizations, and society. However, it has also brought pressing challenges and problems that
call for exploration in our increasingly digitalized existence. While we enjoy the benefits of technological breakthroughs, we are also changed and shaped by them. This mini-track invites papers that identify and address the dynamics of technology, social
media, and human interaction, specifically, the elements that impact people’s personal lives, disrupt the operation of organizations, and mangle the social fabric. The overarching goal is to safeguard the public by raising awareness of the impacts of technological
advancement and social media use, identifying innovative approaches to address the challenges of maintaining a safe and productive environment, and promoting social well-being for the greater good. </div>
