The rapid development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies is profoundly reshaping work and organizations. As AI systems become more prevalent across industries and job functions, there is an urgent need to examine their impacts through a feminist lens (Wellner & Rothman, 2020). This stream aims to advance the emerging concept of FeminAI - the intersection of feminist theory and AI - by critically analyzing the gendered implications of AI in the workplace and proposing feminist approaches to AI development and use.
We invite empirical, conceptual, and methodological contributions that explore how AI technologies impact gender dynamics in various contexts, including the workplace, and how feminist principles can inform the development, implementation, and governance of AI systems to promote gender equality and challenge existing biases.
