Assistant Professor of Analytics & Information Systems (Tenure Track)
The College of Business at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor of Analytics & Information Systems (AIS). This position is in-person on campus in beautiful Athens, Ohio and is set to begin August 16, 2025. We seek candidates who are deeply committed to advancing knowledge within their fields and contributing to Ohio University's mission as an R1 institution. Ideal candidates will demonstrate
excellence in teaching, a dedication to engaged service, and a commitment to fostering a dynamic and collegial learning environment.
Additionally, we seek applicants who demonstrate solid research potential, effective teaching skills, and commitment to engaged service. New tenure-track faculty will receive travel support for academic conferences as well as summer research support. This position will typically have a five-course (15 credit hours) teaching load over Fall and Spring semesters.
About the AIS Department
The AIS department offers undergraduate majors in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, and a minor in Business Analytics. The MIS program has been ranked as a top 20 program by Bloomberg Businessweek. The department also has several graduate certificates, and an online Masters of Business Analytics Program. Known for its strong sense of collegiality, the AIS Department is experiencing growing enrollments and a vibrant academic community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be ABD at the time of application and must have an earned
doctorate or equivalent degree in a related field, from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution by the start date.
