Georgia Tech Scheller ITM - Opening for a Postdoc in the Economics of AI

Hi everyone,

We have an exciting postdoc opening in the ITM group at Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business to study how AI is transforming business and society. This 1-year position (renewable up to 3 years) starts between January-August 2025.

Preferred Research Focus:

  *   AI Industry Analysis: Study firm strategies, innovation patterns, and industry dynamics
  *   AI Business Impact: Investigate how AI transforms firm strategy and labor markets

Position Includes:

  *   Leading research projects targeting top Economics/Management journals
  *   Teaching one course per year
  *   Collaborating with ITM faculty

Requirements:

  *   PhD in economics, management science, computer science, or related fields
  *   Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  *   Programming and data analysis expertise
  *   Interest in using AI tools for research
