The agenda and papers accepted for presentation are now available at the SIG CNoW website for the Pre-ICIS workshop on Saturday 14 December:
https://communities.aisnet.org/sigcnow/2024cnow

We have 17 great papers and 42 registered participants.

We start the day with our keynote speaker Ella Hafermalz stimulating our thinking with a talk on “On the Precipice of the Hyperreal: Working with (in) Simulacra”. We then have roundtables to discuss accepted papers aggregated around relevant sub-themes. We then have our now regular teaching focused session with some useful ideas for how to teach the Changing Nature of Work to different audiences. Towards the end of the day there is a panel discussion on “Digital Nomadism and its implications” jointly organised with Digital Futures Research Group and the AIS Thailand Chapter.

Afterwards we will also hold our Business Meeting to discuss activities and roles of this AIS SIG, and elect the management team for the new year. Please join us at the meeting if you are interested in this topic and community.

Safe travels to Bangkok, we look forward to meeting you there.
