***************************************************************************

Dear Colleague,

We cordially invite you to submit your papers to the *** 30th International Conference on Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Development (EMMSAD'2025) *** that will be held in conjunction with CAiSE'25, Vienna, Austria, on June 16-17, 2025 (https://conferences.big.tuwien.ac.at/caise2025/).

The EMMSAD conference provides a forum for researchers and practitioners interested in modeling methods for systems analysis and development to meet and exchange research ideas and results. Particularly, the conference welcomes submissions on emerging methods in support of modeling (AI, machine learning, NLP, LLM) and application areas of modeling (digital twins, cyber-physical systems, blockchain platforms, Industry 4.0, digital transformation, sustainability).
EMMDAS consists of five tracks that are described below.

Important dates (All deadlines are 23:59, AoE):
------------------------------------
* Abstract submissions: March 13, 2025 (recommended)
* Full paper submissions: March 18, 2025
* Notification of acceptance: April 14, 2025
* Author registration: April 21, 2025
* Camera-ready copies: April 21, 2025
* Conference: June 16-17, 2024
For further information, please visit the conference website http://www.emmsad.org/.

The Program
---------------------------------

Celebrating three decades of the EMMSAD community, we plan to have a reach program that includes:
* Keynote speaker
* Panel
* Paper presentation including discussion.
o Each accepted paper will be asked to discuss another accepted paper.
* Best paper award
* Best reviewer award

Submission & Publication:
------------------------------------
The working conference accepts long papers that report Completed Research and short papers reporting research-in-progress innovative ideas, experience, or tools.
* Completed research papers should not only discuss research findings but also the initial research objectives, the research methodology used, as well as its appropriateness and execution. The papers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) Novelty: the extent to which the paper is sufficiently original with respect to the state-of-the-art. (2) Rigor: Soundness, clarity, and depth of the research contribution. (3) Presentation: Clarity and readability of the paper.
* Research-in-progress papers report on research that is well under way with preliminary results available at the time of the conference. These papers should clearly identify the research objectives of the ongoing research effort, the research methodology used, and the progress made so far. The papers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) Novelty: the extent to which the paper is sufficiently original with respect to the state-of-the-art. (2) Potential for discussion. (3) Presentation: Clarity and readability of the paper.
* Idea papers may present completely new research approaches or adaptation of existing approaches to new types of emerging challenges. The papers should precisely describe the shortcomings of current methods, the innovative aspects of the suggested approach, and its potential to make change. The papers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) Novelty: the extent to which the paper is sufficiently original with respect to the state-of-the-art. (2) Ambition and impact of the idea. (3) Potential for discussion. (4) Presentation: Clarity and readability of the paper.
* Experience reports are expected to report on work done in the context of a real-life organization. They should describe the practical goals of the work, the organizational/business context, the methods or theories used, and the lessons learned. The papers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) Context: the extent to which the application/experience is clear and adequate. (2) Novelty: with respect to the gained insights. (3) Presentation: Clarity and readability of the paper.
* Tool demonstration papers should be related to the conference topics. They should include the research background and application context, the key technologies used, the tool's novelty, and its limitations. The papers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) Novelty: the extent the tool is novel with respect to the state-of-the-art. (2) The potential applications and usefulness of the tool. (3) Presentation: Clarity and readability of the paper.

Please use the following format for your submissions:
* Completed Research papers should not exceed 14 pages (excluding references and appendices of up to 2 pages).
* Research-in-progress, Idea papers, Experience reports, and Tool demonstration papers should not exceed 8 pages (excluding references and appendices of up to 2 pages).
Only electronic submissions in PDF format and in Springer's LNBIP style (See https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines) will be accepted. Both the recommended abstract and the full paper should be submitted using the conference management system available at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=caise2025 and select the "Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Development (EMMSAD)" track.
The proceedings with the accepted papers will be published in Springer's LNBIP series.

Top papers will be invited to submit an extended and enhanced version for consideration for publication in *** SoSyM -- Software and System Modelling journal ***.

Sincerely,
