Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you to submit your research papers for presentation
to the Americas Conference on Information Systems
(https://amcis2025.aisconferences.org/). To be held on August 14-16,
2025, in beautiful Montreal, Canada, AMCIS 2025 will bring together
academics and industry professionals around the world to exchange
knowledge on the various facets of information systems research and
practice.
The environmental impact of transportation remains a critical challenge,
driving the need for innovative solutions. Information and communication
technology (ICT) offers transformative potential in autonomous mobility,
public transportation optimization, and intelligent infrastructure
management. Integrating ICT with mobility solutions can reshape how
people and goods move, contributing to smarter urban planning and
reduced carbon emissions. The minitrack, “*Transforming Transportation
with ICT for a Greener Future*” invites research exploring how
technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things
(IoT), and intelligent process automation can revolutionize mobility. We
seek studies addressing how these technologies can make transportation
more efficient, eco-friendly, and inclusive while balancing economic
sustainability. The minitrack also provides a platform for researchers
to address challenges such as user acceptance, human behavior, and data
security and privacy. Submissions offering novel insights, advancing
technologies, or proposing solutions for more sustainable, efficient
transportation systems are encouraged.
