Conference on Health IT and Analytics, 2025: AI for Societal Health

Call for Papers
The 15th Annual Conference on Health IT and Analytics (CHITA 2025) will be held at the University of Texas at Austin on April 26-27. The theme of this year’s conference is “AI for Societal Health” with a focus on the following topics: responsible artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare, use of large language models for better healthcare decision making, AI-human collaboration in transforming healthcare practice and delivery, and AI to reduce healthcare disparities and improve societal health and welfare.
We invite submissions for presentation at the conference. Papers are solicited on a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, health IT adoption and economic and clinical impact; AI for healthcare analytics, machine learning, and big data; health information exchange and interoperability; new IT enabled care delivery models; telehealth and patient engagement; health IT and policy; and the role of IT in improving fairness and health equity. Papers that approach these topics with diverse disciplinary perspectives: computer science, public health, economics, management, psychology, and medicine, are invited.

The conference will include research presentations, research panels (with several brief presentations), and keynote speakers. Authors are also invited to submit to the track “Health IT and Analytics (HITA) in Action”, featuring brief case studies of innovations in HITA being applied for real-world impact.
