we are delighted to announce the 2nd International Conference on Digital Science in Public Administration (22nd-23rd May 2025), organized by the German University of Digital Science. This conference offers a dynamic platform for academics, public sector professionals, and policymakers to engage in meaningful discussions about the transformative impact of digital technologies on public administration.
Participants are invited to submit completed research, works-in-progress, symposia, and posters, providing a valuable opportunity to exchange insights and receive constructive feedback. The conference will be hosted in a hybrid format, allowing for both on-site participation in Potsdam, Germany, and online access to ensure inclusivity for a global audience.

* Abstract Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025

* Full Paper Submission for Proceedings: July 31, 2025
* Camera-Ready Deadline: February 28, 2026
* Scheduled Publication Date: 2026
Types of Submissions:
* Papers: 20-minute presentations with 10-minute discussions. Submit a title, 500-word abstract, 150-word bio, up to 5 keywords, and 3 references.
* Symposia: 90-minute sessions with 3–4 related papers. Include a thematic introduction, titles, 500-word abstracts, up to 5 keywords, and 3 references per paper, along with 150-word bios for each speaker.
* Posters and Demonstrations: Visual presentations of research or projects (500-word abstract).
Possible Topics (Examples):
* Strategic Digital Transformation in Public Administration: E-government initiatives, digital infrastructure, change management, and performance measurement.
* Artificial Intelligence and Automation: AI applications, ethical frameworks, predictive analytics, and human-AI interaction.
* Citizen-State Relations and Service Delivery: Digital service design, citizen engagement, trust building, and digital inclusion.
* Intergovernmental Coordination and Collaboration: Cross-agency platforms, interoperability standards, and integrated service delivery.
* Security and Risk Management: Cybersecurity frameworks, privacy protection, risk assessment, and system resilience.
* Digital Competencies and Skills: Digital skills development, leadership in digital transformation, and capacity building.
* Challenges and Critical Perspectives: Digital divides, democratic accountability, ethical implications, and civil liberties.
Submission:
All submissions must be sent via email to conf-office at german-uds.de<mailto:conf-office at german-uds.de> by March 15, 2025. For detailed submission guidelines, visit the conference website.
Registration Fees:
* On-Site (Regular): 270 €
* On-Site with Conference Dinner (Regular): 330 €
* Online (Regular): 120 €
* On-Site (Students): 100 €
* On-Site with Conference Dinner (Students): 160 €
* Online (Students): 50 €
* Publication in Springer-Nature Proceedings: 200 € (for accepted papers only)
Proceedings:
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer-Nature. The proceedings will be indexed and accessible through the SpringerLink Digital Library.
