**** PUBLICATION ****
All accepted AI4IP 2025 papers will be published by Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS). CCIS volumes are indexed in Scopus; EI Engineering Index; Google Scholar; DBLP; etc. and submitted for indexing in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), part of Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science.

**** SCOPE & TOPICS ****

This first DEXA workshop Optimisation of Industrial Production with AI Algorithms focuses on the development and efficient use of AI algorithms applied to manufacturing processes. Modern production lines and workflows in assembly processes involve complex interrelationships. Each process step can generate a large amount of data using multiple sensor technologies.
Both the data acquisition process and the usage of efficient algorithms to analyze the collected data is an important part of modern smart production technologies.

The workshop will focus on AI-based tools that make these relationships visible and help to optimise production. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Tools for the analysis of large amounts of data from the production environment and the derivation of corresponding optimisation recommendations
- Optimisation of production planning and logistics processes
- Use of AI for energy and material savings in production
- Optimisation and stabilisation of complex manufacturing processes using AI algorithms
- AI-based expansion of the use of mobile robots and industrial robots

**** SUBMISSION GUIDELINES ****
In order to encourage participation and discussion, this workshop solicits two types of submissions:
- Regular paper submissions about original work not exceeding 10 pages.
- Short paper submissions on recent or ongoing work on relevant topics and ideas not exceeding 5 pages.

*** SUBMISSION PROCEDURE ***
Papers submission will be managed using www.easychair.org. If you have used this system previously for other conferences, you can use the same username and password. If this is the first time you are using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking the "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.
Online Paper submission: (https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=ai4ip).

**** REVIEW PROCESS ****
Submissions to the workshop must not have been published or be concurrently considered for publication elsewhere.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by, at least, 3 reviewers and judged on the basis of originality, contribution to the field, technical and presentation quality, and relevance to the workshop. Short papers are meant for timely discussion and feedback at the workshop.

**** ACCEPTED PAPERS ****
All accepted papers will be published by Springer in "Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS). Authors of all accepted papers must sign a Springer copyright release form. Papers are accepted with the understanding that at least one author will register for the conference to present the paper. All published papers will be indexed appropriately in all major indexes.
