I wanted to follow up on my earlier email about Miki Nguyen, son of Lieutenant Colonel Ba Van Nguyen, whose courageous helicopter rescue during Saigon’s fall was featured in Last Days in Vietnam (Oscar-nominated, 2015).

With the significant 50-year commemoration of the Fall of Saigon in 2025, Miki is excited to share his late father’s memoir, "The Last Flight Out." This powerful book chronicles his father’s brave rescue, sacrifice, and reflections on the Vietnam War.
