*Department of Information Systems and Analytics at Miami University*
Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor positions to teach full-time,
in-person load of Introductory Information Systems or Introductory
Programming/Computational Thinking courses. Appointment will start Fall of
2025.
The Department of Information Systems & Analytics, with approximately 100
graduates per year, and approximately 30 full time faculty members made up
of tenure/tenure track, teaching, and visiting faculty members. The
department values high quality teaching and research. Information on the
Farmer School of Business and its numerous initiatives can be found at
https://miamioh.edu/fsb/. The Farmer School ranks in the top 10 for
undergraduate business education.
Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related
field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Instructor.

Doctorate in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor.
Consideration may be given to applicants that have demonstrated teaching
effectiveness; business experience in Information Systems; graduate degree
from a business school; willingness and ability to teach introductory
courses in Information Systems or programming/computational thinking to
business students.
