Introducing DOI for AIS-hosted conference?

Hi All,

It will be a good idea to introduce DOI for AIS-hosted conferences so that our conference papers can be more widely indexed or included in different academic databases. Currently, we have done that in AIS-hosted journals like CAIS and JAIS, but it seems we have not done that for conferences. Beyond the exposure and dissemination of our scholarly work, it appears that the lack of DOI introduction in the AIS-conferences may lead to the underestimation of publication counts, citations and h-index for some of us, which may be relevant for our tenure and promotions (especially early-career academics...)

To my knowledge, a majority of IEEE-affiliated conference papers have already got a DOI with them.
