Dear Colleagues, 

  

We are pleased to invite you again to submit your contributions for the
Track “Smart Cities & Digital Government,” as part of the
Wirtschaftsinformatik Conference 2025, which will take place from September
13–17 at the University of Münster. 

  

This track explores how digital systems can contribute to the development of
integrated and intelligent cities, fostering a more sustainable and
equitable future. 
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

o Open Data and Open Government 

o Smart Government & Smart Governance 

o Smart Cities: Projects, Platforms, and Applications 

o Liveability & Quality of Life in Smart Cities 

o Digital Sovereignty & Trust Management

AI, Automation of Public Services) 

o AI in the Public Sector 

o Transformative Effects of Digitalization in the Public Sector 

o Transformational Government & Innovation Management 

o E-Government Strategies 

o Online Access Act (Onlinezugangsgesetz): Implementation, Potentials,
Challenges 

o Digital Skills & Education in the Public Sector 

 

We welcome submissions from the fields of information systems, public
administration, urban planning and related disciplines that offer new
perspectives and innovative approaches to smart cities and digital
governance.
