The Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems (MMIS) in the School of Business at Hong Kong Baptist University invites applications for multiple faculty positions in Management Information Systems. We seek exceptional candidates at all academic ranks: Chair Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Research Assistant Professor. Our department particularly welcomes scholars with expertise in AI business applications, business analytics, and digital transformation, though candidates from all MIS fields are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will join a dynamic and collaborative academic environment committed to excellence in both research and teaching.
The Information Systems (IS) Discipline has experienced significant growth, recently adding one research assistant professor and two tenure-track assistant professors. Our faculty have published papers in premier journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Management Information Systems. The IS group includes Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editors, and Associate Editors of leading journals in the discipline. We strongly encourage research-oriented applicants to join our vibrant community.
Position Details and Benefits: These are tenure-track positions (except for Research Assistant Professor) with an initial three-year fixed-term contract beginning in 2025. The university offers a competitive remuneration package including: retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme, monthly cash allowance/staff quarters, and relocation allowance wherever appropriate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
