CALL FOR PAPERS
AMCIS 2025, Montreal, Canada, August 14-16, 2025
** Digital transformation of supply chains minitrack **
under the Digital Transformation and Organizational Information Systems Research track (SIG OSRA)
The digital transformation of supply chains is a global priority as they shift to collaborative networks of organizations involved in the various lifecycle phases of products that embed digital components, are increasingly updatable through their lifetime, and often serve as platforms for additional services. More advanced information systems are critical to deal with inter-organizational challenges. Additionally, emerging policies like Industry 5.0 highlight the need to ensure human-centric, resilient, and sustainable transformations, calling for a socio-technical consideration of the organizational supply chain.
Topics of interest include:
- Inter-organizational business processes, data, and their governance
- Adoption of human-centric and sustainable digital transformation policies (e.g., Industry 5.0)
- Supply chain innovations for organizational agility, resilience, and digital strategies
- Innovative use of technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain, platform ecosystems) for inter-organizational collaboration
- Digital twins of organizations
- Information systems for product lifecycle management (e.g., digital product passports)
- Challenges for digital relationships between the organization and its environment
